Bears Hospital campaign to break fear barrier
Students of the College of Medicine & Medical Sciences of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) continue to carry out the campaign of “AGU Bears Hospital” as part of its ongoing campaign aimed at creating a generation of children who love doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical treatments in a fun atmosphere filled with enjoyment.
Recently, Rayaheen Al Jannah for Quran Memorization Center has hosted the campaign, which is organised in collaboration with the Public Relations Department of the University, where 120 children aged between 5 to 12 years of Rayaheen Al Jannah participated in it. Moreover, the students of the College of Medicine & Medical Sciences volunteered to inform them about the nature of the work of various medical departments and clinics such as first aid, primary care, surgery, vaccination, medicine and radiation in a simple and interesting scientific approach.
The campaign aims to break the fear barrier in children from the doctor and the hospital, medicines and vaccinations, by creating a fun environment in which the child plays the role of doctor and teddy bear plays the role of the patient.
