Bahrain National Sports Day at NHS
The New Horizon School (NHS) Janussan campus celebrated Bahrain National Sports Day with the objective of promoting sports among the students. The events included an open walkathon and yoga for the administration, teaching and non-teaching staff members. Amongst the most anticipated events that took place was Lemon and Spoon race which was conducted for the staff members.
The pleasant weather was a boost to the surging spirit displayed by the teachers and the students. The programmes were coordinated by Physical Education Head Najla, School Counsellor Boby Mathew and Yoga Teacher Dr. Anjana. Boby Mathew shared with the students the techniques of developing a sound mind in a sound body. Dr. Anjana informed the students how meditation can help one to relax. Najla did a massive aerobics session with the students. The day was a marvellous experience for everyone in the campus.
