A fun-filled Children's Day

Students and teachers of the New Millennium School-DPS Bahrain celebrated Children’s Day with immense excitement and prolific fun. Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14 every year in India marking the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose love for children is well-known.

The event was an opportunity for teachers to express their profound love for the children. They presented songs, skits, games and a number of class activities for children.

Celebrating Children’s Day is all about reiterating the children’s right to enjoy and grow into responsible and educated global citizen of tomorrow. For the teachers, it is a chance to ignite the spirit of the child that lies within each teacher and become one of the children in order to move a step closer to their heart.

Gifts were distributed to the children on behalf of Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai and the Managing Director Geetha Pillai. Both of them extended their best wishes and blessings. During the special assemblies, Principal Arun Kumar Sharma addressed the students and teachers and expressed his love for the children and wished them a blessed future.
