Riot of colours at ISB ‘Tarang’

It was a riot of colours as students took to the stage in the ongoing Indian School Youth Festival Tarang 2015.

The campus is buzzing with the energy of performers and motivating student audience. Over the past two days, dance beats and musical waves filled the air of school.

Students enjoyed the thumping beats as their friends took part in the Western Band competition at the Jashanmal Auditorium.

Hindi Light music for boys kept the audience enthralled with their soulful music. The Bharatanatyam competition was held in a new format introduced for the first time in the school.

All the participants got an opportunity to perform in front of the judges on the final stage in the Bharatanatyam competition. There were no preliminary competitions held for this event. As a result there was record participation and a close competition.

An enthusiast parent remarked that this is what makes this event very unique this year. The children need a good platform to explore and the Indian School provided one.

The campus witnessed enthusiastic students, encouraging parents, task oriented teachers and staff who are out to make the youth festival a grand successful one. The glitter of the lights in the evening in the campus makes it a must see destination in this week.

The school has cut down on cost and used only internal resources (used and recycled materials) to create the right festive ambience in the campus.

All individual competitions were close affairs and team spirit was evident in the group competitions as well and it was a close call in all the venues.

Youth Festival finale will be held on November 20.
