Global Institute oraganises seminar

Global Institute for Management Science in association with ACCA Middle East and British Council conducted a seminar on “How to become an Internationally Qualified Chartered Accountant” on November 26 at the Ashrafs Business Tower. The seminar focused on various accounting and finance careers and professional qualifications available for commerce students and finance professionals.

The seminar was led by Fazeela Gopalani, Head of education ACCA Middle East and CA Thomas PC (FCA, ACCA,CMA). Citing her successful career, Ms. Fazeela explained the scope of ACCA and the importance of accountant job.

CA Thomas, who is currently a CFO of a Bahrain- based Manufacturing Company, described the various accounting and finance qualifications available and the various jobs available in the finance sector.

The highlight of the seminar was the Q&A session where the guests interacted with the speakers and cleared all their doubts regarding the various chartered accounting programmes and other qualifications.

Global Institute for Management Science declared a free workshop on practical accounting for Class 11 students from February 27, 2016 to March 3, 2016 and for Class 12 students from May 7, 2016 to 12.

ACCA declared a waving on the initial registration fee and the candidates who attended the seminar will have to pay only £10 for the registration instead of £79.
