GCC REPRESENTATIVES MEET HIS MAJESTY
Bahrain yesterday backed all efforts to promote joint GCC action and while expressing desire to empower private sector to spur economic growth. This came during a meeting held by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa with board chairpersons of GCC chambers of commerce and industry and representatives of the private sector, in the presence of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Commenting on the progress achieved in this regard, HM the King noted that GCC countries have succeeded in establishing many joint institutions and agencies that became key for joint GCC action. Separately, HM the King also received at Sakhir Palace new Bahraini Ambassador to the United States Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
