AWA Snowflake Craft Fair -American Women’s Association contributions to the local charity organisations
The American Women’s Association (AWA) made contributions to the local charity organisations, as part of their donation drive. AWA President Lisa Wahba presented a cheque of BD1,000 to Friendship Society for the Blind Director Ali Haji, during AWA Snowflake Craft Fair for purchasing sports kit for the blind athletes. Another contribution of BD5,000 was made to the Bahrain Down Syndrome Society to purchase a car for the specialised personnel to visit children at their homes.
