1.Krypton Advanced Toastmasters Club (KATC) will be holding the ‘Kryptostar 2014’, today at BSE, Juffair, at 3:00pm. The activities include: Advanced Speeches Contest (Finals), Showcasing of Advanced Manual Speeches by Experienced/ Seasoned/ Champion Speakers/ ATMs from KAT; Over Twenty Great Speeches by Bahrain’s Champion Speakers, Entertaining and Interesting Stories for Toastmasters, Young and Elders Address by the District 20 Governor; Divisional Governors; Area Governor (15), and crowning of the ‘Kryptostar 2014.’
2. As part of its inaugural celebrations, the Bahrain Medical Centre (BMC) will offer free medical check-ups tomorrow. The offer includes testing blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides and haemoglobin.
3. The Indian School is organising Viswa Hindi Divas, the Pravasi Bharatiya Sangam, tomorrow at 6.30 p.m at the Jashanmal Auditorium of Isa Town Campus. There will be a variety of cultural programmes that include Gidda, Bhangra and Gujarati Folk dances; Ghazal Programme and Kavi Sammelan as well as an ‘Essay Writing Competition’ in connection with the celebration.
