Education Ministry urges students to register

High school graduates with grade-point average (GPA) of at least 90 per cent, who couldn’t register online for the 2015-2016 scholarships, are required to report to the Ministry of Education in Isa Town and finalise their applications.
In a statement yesterday, the ministry said June30 would be the deadline for applications. It urging candidates to bring with them notification of graduation, secondary school mark report, the identity card and a copy of registration at Bahrain University and Bahrain Polytechnic – for those wishing to enroll at these academic establishments.
The ministry also called upon privates school graduates and those who graduated abroad with 90 per cent GPA to report to its headquarters in Isa Town and finalise application procedures.
Overseas graduates will have to submit a notification from the Directorate of Examination, accrediting their secondary certificates.
