2 Seas Motorsport, a Bahraini-British GT3 team, has added British driver Frank Bird to their squad for the upcoming CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

This completes their four-man team for the second Endurance Cup round of the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe, held at Belgium’s Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps from June 26 to 30.

Bird , an experienced Mercedes-AMG junior driver, joins team co-owner Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Croatian driver Martin Kodric, and Scottish racer Lewis Williamson in the #60 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

Shaikh Isa expressed his excitement, stating, “Frank knows the car well and brings valuable race experience.

I’m looking forward to the race-week experience.”

Bird is thrilled about the opportunity, stating, “It’s one of the biggest races, and being the 100th edition makes it even more special. Joining a strong team like 2 Seas gives us a great chance to put together a strong challenge.”

This season is 2 Seas Motorsport’s debut in the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup.

They also compete in the 2024 British GT Championship, holding third place in GT3 teams’ and drivers’ standings.

They will compete in round five of the British GT Championship at Spa before the 24- hour race. With a solid lineup and high expectations, 2 Seas Motorsport aims to significantly impact the 24 Hours of Spa.
