KHK Racing’s contender Adrestia finished a commendable 11th out of 24 runners in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. The Kingdom of Bahrain takes great pride in the filly’s performance.

The two-year-old filly, trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, was ridden by Callum Shepherd for KHK Racing, owned by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Adrestia’s performance reflects the ongoing success of Bahraini horses at Ascot Racecourse in the UK.

On Tuesday, Pledgeofallegiance secured first place in the Ascot Stakes for Bahrain’s Victorious Racing, owned by His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and SCYS chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Bahraini runners are set to continue their strong presence.

Tomorrow, Battle Queen will compete for Victorious Racing in the Sandringham Stakes Fillies’ Handicap race, which features 42 runners. Jasour, representing Al Mohamediya Racing, will participate in the Commonwealth Cup, competing against 22 horses.

Jasour is trained by Clive Cox and will be ridden by Jim Crowley. On Saturday, Victorious Racing’s Isle of Jura, trained by Scott and ridden by Shepherd, will compete in the Ascot Hardwicke Stakes, wrapping up a week of significant participation for Bahraini-owned horses at Royal Ascot.
