Bahrain Defence Force strikes gold at World Military Golf Championships

Celebrating a historic achievement, the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has clinched top honors at the 15th World Military Golf Championships in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Sergeant Sultan Abdullah AlHakam secured first place in the individual “Senior” category, while First Warrant Officer Nasser Yaqoub Saleh claimed second place.

The BDF team also excelled, earning third place collectively among fierce international competition. Competing against 14 national teams, the BDF’s performance marks a new pinnacle in military golfing.

Their stellar showing shows their dedication and skill on the global stage.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief, extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Their unwavering support has been instrumental in building BDF’s success in international sports.
