Bahraini-British GT team 2 Seas Motorsport secured a stunning victory in the fifth round of the 2024 British GT Championship at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium.
Kevin Tse and Maximilian Goetz, driving the #18 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo from pole position, led the race from start to finish, completing 36 laps despite a red-flag interruption due to a multi-car incident.
The win marked a significant achievement for the team co-owned by Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa. “Victory was very important for us and the team,” commented Goetz, emphasizing the strategic importance of their flawless race setup.
In a display of resilience, teammates Phil Keen and Kevin Loggie recovered from an early setback to secure fifth place in 2 Seas’ #6 MercedesAMG GT3 Evo, demonstrating the team’s depth and competitive edge.
As the 2024 British GT Championship progresses, 2 Seas Motorsport sets its sights on further success with upcoming races at Snetterton and Donington Park.
The team also anticipates a strong showing in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, as they look to make their mark on both national and international stages.
