Bahrain’s karting star Mohammed Alhasan delivered a remarkable performance, securing a second-place finish in the Senior MAX class during the sixth round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Italia (RMCI) 2024, held at the Kartodromo Cremona Circuit.

Competing alongside his Praga teammates Gracie Rose Grantham and Yousif Alaali, Alhasan proved his talent in a challenging race.

Alhasan only just missed out on 1st place, finishing just 1.477 seconds behind Swiss driver Tino Sidler. Italy’s Alberto Kiko Fracassi completed the podium, trailing Sidler by 2.371 seconds.

Among the 30 competitors, Gracie secured 15th place, while Yousif finished 23rd. “A huge congratulations to Mohammed for securing a strong second place at senior,” the Praga ME team shared on social media.

Nasser Nass, last season’s Mini MAX champion in Bahrain, made his debut in the Junior MAX class, putting on impressive speed throughout the event.

Following the RMCI, the Praga team heads back to Franciacorta Karting Track for the third round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy (RMCET) 2024.

Despite overcoming illness, Gracie, the team’s only female driver, expressed her excitement for the upcoming competition.

“We have some rest now for two days and we need it– it’s been eat, sleep, repeat,” she said. “I will need all my strength because it’s going to be full on this weekend.”
