Bahrain's Friendship Society for the Blind Shines at Gulf Clubs and Associations Challenge Championship for Blind Goalball

The goalball team of the Friendship Society for the Blind in Bahrain participated in the Gulf Clubs and Associations Challenge Championship for blind goalball, which was held in the Sultanate of Oman from July 20 to 24, 2024. The team members expressed their great joy and enthusiasm for participating in this important tournament, which comes within the framework of their efforts to obtain the best results .
In addition to the participation of the Friendship Society for the Blind team, three Bahraini female referees participated in managing the tournament matches: Zainab Mahdi Al-Tajer, Asmaa Jamal Al-Yaqoub, and Hawraa Al-Sayed Ali Hamza. .
It should be noted that the Gulf Clubs and Associations Challenge for Blind Goalball is one of the most prestigious tournaments in this field, in which clubs and associations from various Gulf Cooperation Council countries participate. This tournament aims to enhance the participation of people with visual disabilities in sporting activities and their integration into society.
