National Swimming Team Heads to Cairo for 2nd Arab Junior Championships

Young swimmers set to represent Bahrain in a regional competition aimed at enhancing skills and strengthening Arab sports relations.

Bahrain's national swimming team has departed for Cairo, Egypt, to participate in the 2nd Arab Junior Championships, which will be held from August 25 to August 29.

The delegation is led by the esteemed Shaikha Dr. Hessa bint Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Swimming Federation.

The team includes administrator Abdullah Shamsan, coach Alexander, and talented swimmers Aya bint Rajab and Amani Al Obaidli.

This participation reflects Bahrain's commitment to fostering Arab sports relations and developing the skills of its young swimmers.

The delegation is hopeful for positive results in the championship, especially given the ongoing efforts to support and nurture young talent in swimming.

Shaikha Hessa bint Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa emphasized the importance of this championship in gaining experience and improving the technical level of Bahraini swimmers.

She highlighted the continuous support from the Bahrain Swimming Federation in preparing youth for regional and international competitions.
