Bahrain’s table tennis teams depart for West Asia Championship

Bahrain’s national table tennis teams have departed for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to compete in the West Asia Championship, scheduled from August 26 to September 2.

The delegation is composed of key administrators, coaches, and players, all ready to represent Bahrain.

Led by the Vice President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, Mr. Ali AbdulAli Al Madhah, the team is accompanied by notable figures in Bahrain’s table tennis community, including board member Badr Shamsan, administrator Shaima Al Zowadi, and administrator Abdulrahman, alongside coaches Slobodan Tasko, Lee Jin Young, and Rami Atif.

The team comprises a talented group of young athletes, eager to raise Bahrain’s flag high in this prestigious regional tournament.

The players include Rashid Sind, Mohamed Abbas, Sayed Murtadha Hussain, Elias Al Yasi, Mohamed Nader, Hussain Jaber, Majid Al Ali, Ali Yousif, Sayed Nasser Sayed Alawi, Hassan Ibrahim, Ali Hussain, Sayed Ahmed, Sayed Hashim, Ali Al Hashimi, and Hussain Jaffar.

Among the female players representing Bahrain are Amruta Amit, Kinda Mahmood, Hessa Abdulrahman, Dana Al Khayyat, and Rayan Imad.

The technical staff will participate in the tournament draw and the technical meeting to learn about the matchups in the singles, doubles, and team events through the tournament’s open draw.
