His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Captain of Bahrain’s equestrian team, announced the final list of riders and horses set to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in the upcoming World Championship.

While expressing unwavering faith in the team’s mission, HH Shaikh Nasser also revealed a significant setback—the absence of Darko, the reigning champion horse, due to an injury sustained during training.

Resilience Amidst Adversity

Despite this unexpected challenge, HH Shaikh Nasser’s message emphasized the team’s resolve to defend their title.

“God destined and did what He wanted.

Thank God. But our goal remains the same, and our mission is to preserve the title,” he stated, reaffirming the team’s dedication to upholding Bahrain’s legacy in the sport.

The official list of riders and their horses for the championship is as follows: Rider 1: HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad | Horse: Everest La Majorie Rider 2: Jaafar Merza | Horse: Bolt de Venelles Rider 3: Isa bin Faisal | Horse: Fizz Fageole Rider 4: Othman Al Awadhi | Horse: Ermine Dartagnan Rider 5: Salman Isa | Horse: Elmer de Bozouls The team also includes two reserve riders: Spare Rider 1: Sarhan Hameed | Horse: Be Goode Spare Rider 2: Hamad Isa | Horse: Deesa la Majorie.
