Bahrain’s rising generation conquers West Asia Tournament

Bahrain’s national table tennis teams delivered exceptional performances at the West Asia Championship, currently taking place in Jordan and running until September 2.
The U11 team has advanced to the semi-finals, where they will face Qatar, after beating Syria (3-1) and the UAE (3- 0), topping their group. Similarly, the U13 team also reached the semi-finals as group leaders, defeating Qatar (3-2) and Kuwait (3-0).
In the U17 category, Bahrain’s team claimed wins against Saudi Arabia (3-1) and Lebanon (3-2), securing the top spot in their group. The Women’s U15 team beat Kuwait (3-2) and Saudi Arabia (3-1).
The teams feature talented players such as Rashid Sanad, Mohammed Abbas, Sayed Murtadha Hussain, Elias Elyasi, Mohammed Nader, Hussein Jaber, Majid Al Aali, Ali Yousif, Sayed Nasser Sayed Alawi, Hassan Ibrahim, Ali Hussain, Sayed Ahmed, Sayed Hashim, Ali Al Hashimi, Hussein Jafar, Amruta Amit, Kinda Mahmood, Hessa Abdulrahman, Dana Al Khayyat, and Rayan Imad.
