After their win over Qatar in their last match, Bahrain seemed poised for more success in the Gulf Men’s Basketball Championship 2nd Round. Meanwhile, Kuwait, coming off a loss to Saudi Arabia, was determined to bounce back. The stage was set for an intense matchup, and it did not disappoint. Both teams matched each other point for point in the first quarter, ending 21-21. Bahrain pulled slightly ahead in the second quarter, bringing the halftime score in Bahrain’s favor.
