Bahrain’s national badminton team secured two bronze medals in the recently concluded Bahrain International U15-19 Badminton Championship.

The tournament, held in collaboration with the Indian Club from September 17-22, 2024, saw the participation of 107 athletes from eight countries.

Al Khabbaz and Hameed Shine in U19 Girls’ Doubles

In the Girls’ Doubles U19 category, Bahraini duo Durrah Al Khabbaz and Shahed Hameed clinched a hard-fought bronze medal.

Their tenacity and teamwork throughout the tournament were evident as they overcame several competitive international pairs to secure a podium finish.

Fatima Hasan and Hanouf Mohammed Excel in U15 Girls’ Doubles

In the U15 Girls’ Doubles event, Fatima Hasan and Hanouf Mohammed brought home another bronze for Bahrain.
