Tennis Federation’s women’s committee hosts breast cancer awareness event

Under the patronage of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, the Women’s Committee organized a significant awareness event to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This initiative took place in Isa Town and aimed to build a healthier community through sports and education. The event highlighted the Women’s Committee’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility.

The committee’s focus has been on launching sporting initiatives that promote health among women while creating an encouraging environment for them to engage in physical activity.

Shaikh Abdulaziz praised the Women’s Committee for organizing such an important event, affirming that this initiative reflects the federation’s commitment to community responsibility. Jameela Al-Nashaba, Chairwoman of the Women’s Committee, expressed her delight at the event’s success.

The excitement peaked with a friendly tennis exhibition match featuring Bahraini duo Hajar Zidan and Faten Hussein against the Filipino pair, This Coral and Abi Belagio. The match concluded with the Filipino team winning 2-0.
