BRAVE CF 88 marked a historic moment as the most global organization in the world, born in the Kingdom of Bahrain, crowned its first-ever BRAVE CF Heavyweight champion.
In the co-main event of the night, Pavel Dailidko of Lithuania defeated Poland's Patryk Dubiela via first-round ground and pound, securing the inaugural title.
This victory was Dailidko's fifth consecutive finish in BRAVE CF and his official coronation as the promotion's Heavyweight champion.
Dailidko first gained international recognition at BRAVE CF 65 in Bahrain, where he faced Shamil Gaziev and suffered a second-round knockout loss.
However, he used this setback as motivation, making a remarkable comeback with three consecutive first-round knockouts in a single calendar year, a first in BRAVE CF history.
He followed these performances with another dominant win at BRAVE CF 81 in Slovenia, defeating Valdrin Istrefi and establishing himself as the uncrowned Heavyweight king.
His dream run culminated at BRAVE CF 88, where he captured the title. After his victory, Dailidko expressed gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for providing him with the opportunity.
"A huge thanks to His Highness Shaikh Khalid. I made it because of him. He gave me the chance," Dailidko said. Under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Khalid, BRAVE Combat Federation has been transforming the MMA landscape for eight years.
As the most globally hosted MMA promotion, with events in 34 countries, BRAVE CF has expanded the sport into regions previously untouched by other organizations and has allowed fighters like Pavel to dream big in MMA.
Pavel Dailidko’s success, coming from Lithuania and now reigning as the Heavyweight champion of the world, highlights the organization's on-going impact on the global MMA scene and its dedication to a global and inclusive growth.
