Focus on National and Asian Licenses
The workshop covered a wide range of topics related to both national and AFC (Asian Football Confederation) licenses. Participants were provided with an in-depth explanation of the criteria required to obtain each license, emphasizing the significant changes introduced by the AFC for the Asian license. The session also included a demonstration of how to use the Club Licensing System (CLAS), a digital platform designed to streamline the licensing process.
Engaging Participation from Bahrain's Top Clubs
Representatives from several of Bahrain’s leading football clubs attended the workshop, including Riffa East, Khalidiya, Manama, Riffa, Sitra, Muharraq, Shabab, Najma, Bahrain, Hala, Isa Town, Ittihad, and Ittifaq. Paving the Way for Professional Football
The workshop forms part of the BFA's broader strategy to elevate the quality of club operations across the country. By aligning with AFC’s club licensing standards, Bahraini clubs are positioning themselves for future success in the professional football arena. The AFC’s focus on improving club structures through licensing is aimed at fostering a higher level of competitiveness, with the long-term goal of bringing Bahraini clubs into the AFC Champions League and other prestigious competitions.
