Over 16 million views on TikTok for ISF Gymnasiade-Baharin 2024
The TikTok account (ISFBAHRAIN) for the International School Sport Federation (ISF) Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, managed by the Ministry of Information in collaboration with TikTok and ISF Media Committee, has garnered over 16 million views during the first days of media coverage for the event, which runs until October 31.
Yousif Mohammed Albinkhalil, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information and Member of the ISF Higher Organising Committee, emphasised the ministry’s commitment to highlighting the global event under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the participation of approximately 5551 students representing 80 school federations from 71 countries.
Albinkhalil added that a dedicated media team from the ministry, alongside young national volunteers, has been assigned to cover, publish and manage content for the event on TikTok, including live broadcast of the activities and utilising local media coverage for promotion. The number of followers on ISFBAHRAIN has surged by over 8000 in less than three days, reflecting the public’s keen interest in following this international event.
