Bowen, Brightmore win in Monday Golf
Jamie Bowen and playing partner Mike Brightmore (19 nett on countback) narrowly won week three of the Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.
In second place were Taimur Malik and Yaseen Le Falher (19), while third place went to the husband-and-wife team of David and Dena Wales (18).
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Alistair Rushton and Yeon Gul Kim respectively.
Nearly 30 golfers took part in the Rainbow Challenge tournament despite the chilly weather.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Sohail Singh, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, gave away the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
This 9-hole competition, open to non-members, takes place every Monday evening and tees off with a 6:30pm shotgun start.
