Uzbekistan hosts 10th MMA World Championships

Bahrain’s mixed martial arts team is set to compete in the 10th World Mixed Martial Arts Championships, which will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from November 5 to 13.
Organized by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) in partnership with Team Bahrain, the tournament will see over 500 athletes from more than 60 countries compete.
Bahrain’s team, which has a strong track record in the competition, will be aiming to defend its title after clinching the eighth edition in Belgrade, Serbia.
The team’s preparations have been rigorous, and athletes such as Sultan Jabizov, Ghazi Ghaziev, and Mohammed Shikhov will be looking to replicate their previous successes.
Team Bahrain has been instrumental in organizing various international mixed martial arts tournaments, earning the trust of the IMMAF, which entrusted the team with hosting this year’s championship.
The team, led by IMMAF board member and Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation president Mohammed Ali Qambar, has a proven track record of delivering successful events.
