BIC marks Bahraini Women’s Day with special celebration

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, hosted today a special gathering for its female staff in celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day.

The event featured a sumptuous meal, and it took place at BIC’s lounges along the Oasis Complex.

In attendance were BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, BIC Chief Operating Officer Fayez Ramzy Fayez, BIC Chief Commercial Officer Sherif Al Mahdy, as well as the circuit’s team of talented women.

Shaikh Salman commented to mark the occasion: “Our female staff members at BIC play an integral role in our success as a world-class venue for motorsport, and I am tremendously proud of the daily contributions they make at the very heart of BIC’s operations.

“As we celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day, it is only fitting that we honour them not only for what they do for the circuit, but also for being trailblazers in the industry as we continue our commitement to promote equality and diversity in motorsport.

“I thank all of our female team members for their tireless efforts, and I wish them all a very happy and blessed Bahraini Women’s Day.” The celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day is just one of the many activities held throughout the year to appreciate the hard work and dedication of the BIC family.
