JOC officials’ visit concludes
A three-day visit by representatives from the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) concluded yesterday.
The main purpose of the visit was to observe the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) expertise in the field of sports, including sports federations affairs, administrative services, education and coaches preparation.
JOC knowledge, training and education manager Narin Al Hajj Tass and Sport Federations Affairs Department head Rana Al Sa’ed wrapped up their trip with a meeting with BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar. During the meeting, both parties discussed a number of subjects of mutual interest. Askar noted the strong ties between both national Olympic committees at all levels.
The visiting delegation also met member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the BOC Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa and congratulated her on winning the 2015 IOC Women and Sport Award for Asia.Earlier, the JOC pair had visited several sports facilities across the kingdom, including Bahrain National Sports Medicine Centre in Isa Town and the Sports Training and Development Centre in Juffair.
