The Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club will host the sixth race of the 2024- 2025 season today, December 6, with the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) serving as the event’s sponsor.

The evening promises intense competition as top-performing horses from Bahrain’s tracks go head-to-head in eight races, two of which are dedicated to apprentice jockeys.

The event kicks off with the NBB Cup for Arabian horses certified by WAHO, featuring notable contenders such as Tuwaisan 1844 and Musanan M908. The day continues with a series of thrilling races, including the NBB GO Cup for local-bred beginner horses and the NBB Sprint Cup for imported balance horses, where speedsters like Enveigle and Triple Hunter will aim for the title.

Another highlight includes the NBB Mile Cup for local grades, where favorites Qulaysha and Social Distancing are expected to vie for dominance in the 1,600-meter race.

The competition will conclude with the 2,400-meter NBB Cup for imported balance horses. Leading the field is Knight of Honor, whose track record in long-distance events has positioned him as the horse to beat.

Spectators can purchase tickets via the official website, Bahrainturfclub.com, or at designated ticket outlets at the club’s venue in Riffa.
