Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his ambition for the Gunners to excel in every aspect of football, following their 2-0 victory over Manchester United on Wednesday. The win, powered by two goals from corners, reignited Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes and brought their set-piece tally to 22 goals since the start of the 2023/24 season — five more than any other team in Europe’s top five leagues.

Arteta embraced a comparison made by former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov, who likened Arsenal to Stoke City during their Premier League tenure, a team renowned for their set-piece prowess. “We take it as a big compliment,” Arteta said. “We want to be the best in the world at everything — set pieces, high pressing, attacking open spaces, and more. Our goal is to dominate in every way possible.”

Arsenal’s recent resurgence, marked by four consecutive victories, has brought them within seven points of league leaders Liverpool. With their sights set on reclaiming glory, the Gunners are not just chasing titles — they are redefining excellence.
