Quarterfinal lineup set for School Football Championship

The Nasser Bin Hamad Football Championship for Boys’ High Schools has unveiled its quarterfinal lineup after a dramatic conclusion to the preliminary rounds in Groups 3 and 4.

In Group 3, Ahmed Al-Imran School continued their dominant run, edging out Bahrain Bayan School with a thrilling 4-3 victory. Despite the loss, Bahrain Bayan advanced to the next stage on goal difference, narrowly eliminating Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa School, who bowed out despite their 3-0 win over the American School.

Group 4 saw Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifiya School secure their spot in the quarterfinals with a solid 2-0 win over the British School. The British School advanced as runners-up, while Hamdan City School delivered an impressive 7-0 victory over Al Noor International School but failed to progress.

The quarterfinals, scheduled for Sunday, December 8, promise intense competition. Key matches include Ahmed Al-Imran School facing Brights International School and Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifiya School taking on Modern Knowledge School.
