In a thrilling first leg of the semi-finals at the Khalid Bin Hamad Handball Championship for Boys’ High Schools, Hamdan City School and Ahmed Al-Imran School emerged victorious in closely contested matches. Organized by the Ministry of Education’s Physical Education Department, the games were held at the Bahrain Handball Association arena.

Hamdan City School edged past Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Institute of Technology in a nail-biting 40-39 win. Star player Mohammed Ahmed Tarada delivered an extraordinary performance, scoring 22 goals and earning the Man of the Match title. Despite their resilience, Sheikh Khalifa’s team fell short due to missed opportunities and critical errors in the final minutes.

In the second match, Ahmed Al-Imran School claimed a 33-31 victory over Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifiya School. Mohammed Haitham Aoun stood out, scoring seven goals and securing the Best Player award.

The second leg is scheduled for Sunday, December 8, at the Bahrain Handball Association arena. Hamdan City will take on Sheikh Khalifa Institute, while Ahmed Al-Imran will face Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifiya in what promises to be another round of intense competition.
