Pulisic out of Red Star clash with calf injury: AC Milan

Christian Pulisic will miss AC Milan’s Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade with a calf injury, the Serie A club announced yesterday.
Milan said that Pulisic had hurt the “soleus muscle of his right calf” during Milan’s 2-1 defeat at new league leaders Atalanta on Friday, when he was forced off in the first half with the scores level.
“New tests will be carried out in a week’s time,” added Milan, who host Serbian side Red Star on Wednesday. USA attacker Pulisic will also miss Milan’s home fixture with struggling Genoa in Serie A on Sunday.
