Bahrain’s MMA icon Hamza Kooheji is ready to share his remarkable journey with the world in Hamza Kooheji: The Untold Story, a documentary chronicling his rise from a young dreamer to a celebrated champion in the sport. Directed by Bahraini filmmaker Ahmed Bucheery, the film promises an inspirational and deeply personal look into the life of the “Pride of Bahrain.”

A Star-Studded

Premiere The documentary is set to debut at a red-carpet, invite-only event today, at EPIX Cinemas in Dana Mall. Following its exclusive premiere, The Untold Story will open to the public on December 16, giving fans an opportunity to experience Kooheji’s legacy on the big screen.

Behind the Fighter

Director Ahmed Bucheery offers a unique perspective on Kooheji’s life, focusing on the challenges he overcame and the sacrifices he made on his path to international stardom. “You’ll witness the story of Hamza’s character outside the ring; a glimpse into the man behind the fighter,” Bucheery revealed, highlighting the film’s emotional depth.

The release of the documentary comes just days before Kooheji’s return to the cage. On December 13, at BRAVE CF 91, he will face Turkey’s Alperen Karabulut in the co-main event, adding another thrilling chapter to his storied career.
