Arab MMA legend Hamza Kooheji made his much-awaited return to the BRAVE Combat Federation cage at BRAVE CF 91, where he secured a dominant stoppage win over Turkish MMA superstar Alperen Karabulut.

The fight marked Kooheji’s first appearance inside the BRAVE CF cage in two years, yet The Pride of Bahrain performed as though he had never stepped away. Kooheji’s victory at BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain was his third straight win and his second consecutive victory in BRAVE CF. With this winning streak, Kooheji has cemented his position as a top contender in the Bantamweight division.

A former title challenger in the division, Kooheji has been undefeated since his failed title bid at BRAVE CF 57 against Brad Katona. Following his loss to Katona, Kooheji has secured three consecutive wins, two of which came via stoppages, including his latest win at BRAVE CF 91.

The win marked a huge comeback for Kooheji, showcasing his will and ability to inspire the next generation of MMA stars by overcoming adversity. For many fighters, returning from a long-term injury in their 30s and securing a dominant stoppage win would be an uphill battle, but Kooheji defied the odds and demonstrated why he is considered a legend in the sport.

Speaking after the fight, Kooheji noted that the difficulties made success even sweeter and expressed his determination to become a world champion. He also revealed his desire to fight once more before Ramadan, fast-tracking his journey toward the world title and adding excitement to the BRAVE CF Bantamweight division.
