Dr. Kodange’s stellar 44 points caps 2024 at Awali Golf Club

Dr. Kodange delivered a remarkable performance on the final Friday competition of 2024 at Awali Golf Club, amassing an impressive 44 points off a 19 handicap. Starting his round on the 10th hole, Kodange set the tone with a bogey, followed by a birdie on the 11th, a par on the 12th, and another birdie on the 14th.
Maintaining consistent scoring, he capped off his round in spectacular fashion with a birdie on the 9th hole. The only other player to surpass 40 points was Jasper Meinema, who, playing off a 5 handicap, carded six birdies to secure 41 points and victory in the first division. Sun Kyu Kwak triumphed in division two with 37 points, while Viddhu Mittal claimed division three with 38 points.
Vice Captain Balbir Singh and Tournament Director Nathan Sundaresan presented the prizes in the clubhouse, alongside African and Eastern Key Accounts Manager Mohammed Rasel. The club extended its gratitude to African and Eastern for their unwavering support and eagerly anticipates the next sponsored event, the Corona Classic, set to take place in April 2025.
