Excitement is building for the 13th race of the 2024/2025 season at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, scheduled for Friday. The event will feature the coveted Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Cup and other prestigious trophies.

The Shaikh Isa Cup, a highlight of the season, traditionally attracts elite horses preparing for the upcoming Crown Prince Cup festival. Notable international and Bahraini entries promise fierce competition across all categories.

This week’s event also includes the third round of the Bahrain International Trophy series, supported by prominent sponsors such as Bapco Energies, Alba, and Gulf Air. The series has elevated Bahrain’s global standing in horse racing, drawing top-rated horses, trainers, and jockeys worldwide.

Friday’s races will feature 12 events, including key rounds in the Bahrain International Trophy, contested by some of the finest local and international horses. Among the highlights are the Waseem Cup and Al-Adiyat Cup, showcasing thrilling performances across varied distances and categories.

The season’s earlier rounds saw impressive wins by Bahraini and international horses, raising anticipation for Friday’s events. With extensive participation from global and local stables, the competition is expected to set new benchmarks for the sport in Bahrain.
