It truly captures the essence of the DP World Tour,” he noted. Speaking exclusively to Hussain Almaskati of The Daily Tribune, Phillips elaborated on the significance of the tournament: "Last year marked our return to Bahrain after 13 years, and it was a monumental occasion.
The tournament was a tremendous success, and this year we’re thrilled to build on that momentum. The golf course has undergone exciting changes, we have an even stronger field with three Major champions competing, and we’ve welcomed a new title sponsor, Bapco Energies. With the support of our partners and the Bahrain Olympic Committee, we’re excited about what we’re bringing to the Kingdom this year."

On the course, fans can anticipate a stellar lineup. Defending champion Dylan Frittelli will be joined by Major winners Pádraig Harrington and Jimmy Walker, as well as DP World Tour stars like Thorbjørn Olesen and Jorge Campillo. Adding a touch of national pride, Bahrain’s own Hassan Al-Doseri will make his debut on this grand stage along with other Bahraini representatives.
