BRAVE Combat Federation Announces 2024 End of Year Awards

The global leader in mixed martial arts, BRAVE Combat Federation, has officially revealed the recipients of its prestigious End of the Year Awards for 2024, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of fighters who defined the year.

Fighter of the Year: Erko Jun
Newly crowned BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight Champion Erko Jun has been honored as the Fighter of the Year 2024. Jun’s exceptional performances outshined notable competitors, including Heavyweight Champion Pavel Dailidko, Bantamweight Champion Nicholas Hwende, and African superstar Eliezer Kubanza, who finished as the runner-up.

Jun headlined two BRAVE CF events this year, winning both bouts via finishes. His crowning achievement came in his second outing, where he secured the Light Heavyweight title with a dominant victory.

Knockout of the Year: Rizwan Ali
Pakistani sensation Rizwan Ali delivered the Knockout of the Year with a stunning third-round finish of India’s Srikant Sekhar at BRAVE CF 85 in Pakistan. The bout was a Fight of the Year contender and showcased Ali’s skill and resilience. Their rematch at BRAVE CF 92 in Bahrain saw Ali secure a first-round stoppage, solidifying his status as one of the most exciting athletes of the year. Ali faced stiff competition for the award, with memorable knockouts from Marwin Quirante and Mohamed Alsameea also in contention.

Submission of the Year: Mojtaba Nasiri
For the second consecutive year, Mojtaba Nasiri clinched the Submission of the Year award. Nasiri made history at BRAVE CF 85 in Pakistan with the organization’s first-ever Von Flue choke against Yuki Angdembe. This win marks back-to-back submission accolades for Nasiri, who claimed the 2023 award with a standout performance at BRAVE CF 66.

Fight of the Year: Anuar Bensayiid vs. Sino Sabzaliev
The electrifying clash between Anuar Bensayiid and Sino Sabzaliev at BRAVE CF 89 in Spain earned Fight of the Year honors. The three-round thriller captivated fans with its intense action and high stakes, culminating in a dramatic finish by Bensayiid.

Breakout Fighter of the Year: Rasul Magomedov
Bahraini superstar Rasul Magomedov was named Breakout Fighter of the Year after an undefeated 2024 campaign. Magomedov secured two significant victories, including a headline win at BRAVE CF 90 in Austria. Monika Kučinič finished as the runner-up in this category.
