In an exhilarating encounter in the Khalid Bin Hamad Corporate T20 League 2025, Rare Inco Gulf edged out Indian Hyderabad Super XI by 4 wickets and match poised until death overs.

Indian Hyderabad Super XI, after losing the toss, were asked to bat first. The innings started with a brisk knock from Pentakota Sai Kumar, who top-scored with 59 off 49 balls, including 8 boundaries. However, the innings crumbled around him as wickets fell at regular intervals.

Inam Ul Allah (19), Naveen Kumar Seni (30), and Ozair Majid Bhat (7) all made useful contributions but were dismissed at crucial moments. The top order was stifled by Mubashir Mumtaz, who claimed 3 wickets for 13 runs, and Zohaib Ahmed, who bowled a tight spell, picking up 2 wickets for 22 runs. Despite some late hitting, Indian Hyderabad were bowled out for 151 in 20 overs.

Chasing 152, Rare Inco Gulf’s innings was led by the explosive Muhammad Khalid, who blazed his way to 60 off 38 balls, including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes, at a strike rate of 157.89. His partnership with Adil Shezad, who contributed a quick-fire 43 off 29 balls, put the chase on track.

The game seemed to swing in favor of Indian Hyderabad when Rajeshwar Morthad struck consistently, picking up 4 crucial wickets for 18 runs in 3.1 overs. His efforts helped reduce Rare Inco Gulf to 140/5. However, Muhammad Naeem Ashraf (9*) and Muhammad Kasif Niazi (4*) held their nerve in the final overs to seal the chase, guiding Rare Inco Gulf to 152/6 in 17.1 overs.
