Bahrain’s ice warriors ready for Winter Asian Games in Harbin

As the 2025 Winter Asian Games draw closer, Bahrain’s national ice hockey team is leaving no stone unturned.

With the tournament set to take place in Harbin, China, the squad is deep into their final preparations at the Funland Centre in Manama.

Maryam Mardana, the head of Bahrain’s delegation to the Harbin 2025 Winter Asian Games, visited the national team during their intensive domestic training camp ahead of their departure this Thursday.

During her visit, Mardana reviewed the team’s progress and held discussions with coaching staff and players about their final preparations. She emphasized the importance of representing Bahrain on the international stage.

“This team has worked tirelessly, and their passion for the game is unmatched. We are confident they will give their all for Bahrain in Harbin,” she said.

Fine-Tuning Before Harbin

The Head Coach has tailored the camp to simulate the conditions expected in Harbin, ensuring that players are mentally and physically ready.

The skipper also shared his thoughts on the team’s preparations: “This is a huge moment for us as a team and for Bahrain as a sporting nation. We’re determined to make our mark at the Winter Asian Games and prove that we belong on this stage.”
