Bahrain prepares to host HH Shaikh Nasser Showjumping Championship

Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Honorary President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian Federation, the federation is gearing up to host HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa International Two-Star Showjumping Championship from today to Friday at the Military Sports Association’s arena in Al Raffa.

The event promises intense competition across various categories, with riders vying for top honors. The championship will feature six classes, including the Small, Medium, and Large competitions, as well as two local events for young riders and open competition.

Organizers have completed final preparations, including veterinary checks for participating horses. Organizing committee member Huda Janahi confirmed that all preparations are complete, ensuring a successful championship. “The committee will strive for excellence, anticipating strong competition in all events,” she said.

Janahi expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his unwavering support of showjumping, as well as to Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian Federation, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Showjumping Committee.

The public is invited to attend the championship, with opportunities to win prizes, including a car, through raffles during the event.
