Khalid bin Rashid Crowns Indonesia as ITF Tennis Championship Winners

Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, crowned Indonesia as the champions of the ITF World Tennis Championship U-14 Asian Qualifiers. The tournament concluded on Saturday at the Bahrain Tennis Federation courts at Polytechnic University in Isa Town.
Indonesia secured the title after a commanding 2-0 victory over Sri Lanka in the final. Following the match, Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa presented the trophies to both teams.
Indonesia and Sri Lanka Secure Final Round Spots
By reaching the final, both Indonesia and Sri Lanka have qualified for the final phase of the Asian qualifiers, which will take place in Malaysia in March.
Lebanon Claims Third Place
In the third-place match, Lebanon edged past the Philippines 2-1 in a tightly contested battle to secure the bronze medal. After the match, Lebanon was awarded their medals by Bahrain Tennis Federation board member Mohamed Salman, ITF West and Central Asia representative Amir Borghi, and tournament referee Nitian Kanamuar.
