Manchester City Launches Ramadan Esports Cup for EA Sports FC 25 Players in the Middle East and North Africa

Manchester City has officially launched the Ramadan Esports Cup, a new tournament open to EA Sports FC 25 players across Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The competition gives players the chance to win exclusive prizes and be crowned the Ramadan Esports Cup Champion for 2025.
The tournament is accessible to players of all skill levels and supports various gaming platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC.
Tournament Format & Rules
Players from each country will compete in regional qualifiers to earn a spot in the finals. The tournament will be structured in four qualification groups based on each player's country of residence:
Algeria: Friday, March 28, 13:00 GMT – Friday, March 28, 18:00 GMT
Egypt: Friday, March 28, 18:00 GMT – Friday, March 28, 23:00 GMT
UAE: Saturday, March 29, 15:00 GMT – Saturday, March 29, 20:00 GMT
Saudi Arabia: Saturday, March 29, 09:00 GMT – Saturday, March 29, 14:00 GMT
Each player in the qualifiers will have a maximum of five hours to play up to 10 matches against regional competitors. The top players from each region will advance to the semi-finals, which will take place on Friday, April 4th at 13:00 GMT. The Grand Final will follow shortly after, from 14:00 to 15:00 GMT +1.
Prizes
A range of exciting prizes await those who make it to the latter stages of the tournament. The grand prize includes a one-on-one session with a professional Manchester City Esports player and a full team-signed Manchester City jersey.
Players interested in participating are encouraged to enter their country's respective qualifiers for a chance to compete on the grand stage and represent their nation in the tournament.
