Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by four wickets in their opening match of the 2025 Indian Premier League, chasing down 155 with five balls to spare.
CSK’s win was set up by Noor Ahmed’s brilliant spell of 4-18, which, along with Khaleel Ahmed’s three wickets, restricted Mumbai to a modest total. Tilak Varma top-scored for MI with 31 runs.
