Bahraini Royals Attend 29th Dubai World Cup Horse Race, Applaud UAE’s Global Success

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, attended the prestigious 29th edition of the Dubai World Cup horse race held at the iconic Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, on the resounding success of this year’s edition of the event.

HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the fierce competition and world-class performances witnessed during the race, which featured elite jockeys and horses from around the globe. He praised the event as a vibrant display of determination and sportsmanship, where champions battled for one of the most prestigious titles in the world of horse racing.

He also commended the visionary leadership of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, whose unwavering commitment to the equestrian sport has transformed Dubai into a global hub for horse racing. "Thanks to this forward-looking vision, Dubai has become a beacon for championships and a gathering place for top owners and jockeys from across the world," Shaikh Nasser stated.

Describing the 29th edition as exceptional in all aspects—from the outstanding organization to the high level of competitiveness—Shaikh Nasser praised the organizing committee for their remarkable efforts. He noted that their dedication significantly bolstered the UAE’s status, particularly Dubai’s, as a global leader in horse racing.
