Major-General Shaikh Hamad Reviews Safety Readiness for F1 Weekend

Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, conducted a field visit to the Bahrain International Circuit to inspect the ongoing preparations and security arrangements ahead of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
During the visit, Major-General Shaikh Hamad was briefed on the comprehensive security plans in place to ensure safety and maintain public order throughout the international sporting event. He praised the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Interior and the continued follow-up by the Chief of Public Security, emphasizing the importance of implementing all necessary precautionary measures to secure the championship and deliver high-quality security services.
He affirmed that both the main operational plans and emergency response strategies have been thoroughly studied, practiced, and tested through various simulation scenarios conducted by the participating security units. These exercises, he noted, demonstrated the professionalism, preparedness, and capability of the security forces in executing their duties efficiently and effectively.
The Bahrain Grand Prix is one of the Kingdom’s most prominent international events, drawing attention from around the globe. The ongoing efforts by security forces reflect Bahrain’s commitment to hosting world-class events in a safe and secure environment.
