Bahrain’s Tent Pegging Team Clinches First Place at GCC Beach Games

The Bahraini Tent Pegging Team, representing the Ministry of Interior, secured first place in the sword pegging competition during the third Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Beach Games held in Muscat.
The team’s outstanding performance in the traditional equestrian sport highlights Bahrain’s growing prominence in regional athletic events and showcases the skill and discipline of the Ministry of Interior’s athletes.
Brigadier Abdullah Al Harram, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs, extended his gratitude to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his unwavering support of the Ministry’s sports initiatives. He credited this continued encouragement for the numerous achievements by Interior Ministry athletes on both local and international stages.
Brigadier Al Harram also praised the leadership of Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, who closely follows the Ministry’s sporting activities and initiatives. He commended the team's exceptional performance, noting it reflects their high level of preparedness, commitment, and competitive spirit.
The victory marks another milestone for Bahrain in the realm of traditional sports, strengthening its legacy and reputation within the GCC.
