Ferrari left the Bahrain Grand Prix with 22 points in the bag and optimism that they had turned the corner after a sluggish beginning to the 2025 season.
Charles Leclerc crossed in fourth after starting on the front row, with Lewis Hamilton improving from ninth on the grid to fifth.
The Scuderia had kitted their cars out with a new floor panel in Sakhir and more upgrades are expected at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah next weekend.
“There are no regrets after a race like this, we just need to find some more pace,” Leclerc said.
For seven-time world champion Hamilton it is still a question of finding his feet at his new surroundings after 12 years at Mercedes.
“I think what’s clear is, us humans we get really stuck in our ways and I think I’ve been driving a certain style and a certain way with the same team for such a long time and I’ve moved to a new car and it requires such a different driving style and settings,” explained Hamilton.
“I think I’ve figured out how the car likes to drive so hopefully if I can apply that next week I can qualify better and have a much better weekend,” he added. “We’ve taken some good learnings from this weekend and we’ll carry that momentum into Jeddah.”
